The Agapic Project
The Agapic Project (TAP) is a charitable association which seeks to put agape ethics into practice by loving all creatures and actively trying to improve the world. It’s a group of people collaborating to move more effectively towards this end.
Agape is universal and unconditional love, benevolence, altruism, or active care for the well-being of all. Agape ethics focuses on putting this principle in practice in our lives (for more details, see our introductory blog post and some of our essays on agape).
In the spirit of agape, we recognize its practice is not easy, and therefore give room for compassion whilst we each iterate and learn what is good/loving. In this way, we each maintain a necessarily humble approach to our ethical practices, thus avoiding the vices of egotism and self-righteousness. We strive to practice genuine love towards all, where the striving itself realizes its ends.
